College Conservatory Company Tour
NYC
This experience is designed to show dancers that there is more than one path in dance. Train in NYC, explore colleges, conservatories, and company life, and build your vision as an artist. Perform locally and take your journey further with an optional international performance in Panama.

Dance Gap Year

Dance Gap Year is for dancers ready to step off the traditional path and into their own creative journey. Through training, mentorship, and international experiences, you’ll develop your voice, build your portfolio, and connect with a global community. This is where your transition from student to artist begins. Our program includes New York & Latin America

Our Dancing Nomad programs include 1-4 week programs blending eco-living, permaculture, volunteerism, art making and traveling. Locations are constantly growing as we continue to connect as global citizens learning and teaching together. It is a perfect selection for K-12 educators, digital nomads, and dance enthusiast of all levels.

Global Dance Company
HYBRID MODEL
The Pizarts Global Dance Company connects dancers across the world through a hybrid model of virtual rehearsals and in-person performance experiences. Train weekly from wherever you are, then travel to meet the company, train and perform in dynamic locations like New York City, Panama, and India. This is where online connection transforms into real-world artistic collaboration.

Program Direction
Dominique Robinson is an American dancer, choreographer, educator, and entrepreneur who founded Pizarts home of Dance Gap Year in 2014 to provide international, experiential, and educational dance opportunities.

Zoe
Creative Mentorship
Grounded in the belief that movement was born to bring people together and communicate beyond words, Zoe Rappaport is a Creative Movement Director / Choreographer, Interdisciplinary Artist, Producer & Educator based in Los Angeles and New York.

Friidom
Artist Mentor
Darrél "Friidom" Dunn is an Los Angeles-based movement innovator, choreographer, and director recognized for pioneering "Epiic." He collaborates on artistic, commercial, and educational projects throughout LA, aiming for unity and artistic freedom.

Kanami
Artist Mentor
Kanami Kusajima (professional name: "Let Hair Down") is a Japanese-born dancer, choreographer, and street performerbased in New York City. She is best known for her daily improv dance performances at Washington Square Park, where she often paints with her feet.

Milerka
Artist Mentor
Milerka, also known as “Mile” (ME-leh), is an ARTrepreneur from New York. Music, movement, and writing are her expression tools of choice; tools she uses to find balance living as a Dominican-American woman in a complex world. In recent years, she has been on spiritual, self-healing, and decolonization journeys that inform her work and views on life. Dance has always been one of Milerka’s favorite things to do.

Artist Mentor
Jason Daniel Bams is a NYC-based professional movement artist, dancer, and choreographer active since 2009. He has performed at major venues like the Apollo Theater and Yankee Stadium (Hip Hop's 50th anniversary), and has toured with Janet Jackson. Bams is known for his versatile style, teaching, and his work focusing on mindfulness through movement.

Paige “Queen TuT” Stewart is a NYC-based professional dancer, choreographer, and instructor known for hip hop, African, and contemporary dance. She is the founder of [The Kingdom Dance Company] and has worked with artists including Ariana Grande and Wyclef Jean. She is also a Lupus advocate and instructor for NYC youth.

Cadence
Operations Manager
Cadence grew up dancing. It carried her through high school and college, and it taught her most of what she knows about discipline, patience, and showing up for people. She studied international business, but dance is what shaped her.
She loves to travel, and wherever she goes she finds a way to volunteer.
